One spreadsheet, one row per unit or tenant. Fill in what you have — the dashboard fills in the rest as you go.
It's already got the right column headers and a filled-in example row, so you can just overwrite the example and add your own rows underneath.
| Column | What it means | |
|---|---|---|
| Property Address | Full street address — groups rows into one property automatically. | Required |
| Unit | Unit or suite number. | Optional |
| Tenant Name | Leave blank for a vacant unit. | Optional |
| Square Feet | Leasable square footage of the unit. | Optional |
| Monthly Rent | Current monthly rent, in dollars (numbers only, no "$"). | Optional |
| Lease Start | Format: YYYY-MM-DD (e.g. 2026-01-01). | Optional |
| Lease End | Same date format as above. | Optional |
| Annual Escalation % | Yearly rent increase built into the lease, if any (e.g. 3 for 3%). | Optional |
From the dashboard, click Import Rent Roll and choose your file. You'll see a preview of what we read from it before anything is saved — nothing is added to your portfolio until you confirm.
Multiple properties in one file are fine — just repeat the Property Address for every row that belongs to that property, one row per unit.
